The Gucci 2020 Cruise Collection was a varied collection with inspirations from ancient Rome, to 70s styling, and also featured the one and only, Mickey Mouse! The Gucci Mickey Mouse Styles were mixed into colorful prints and brought to life bold statement pieces.
The Mickey Mouse Club has gone high fashion with these sleek pieces. Michele’s importance and love of Rome shines through on these varied Disney pieces. There was even a toga on this runway!
You can really see the influx of 70s fashion in this collection. Mickey makes a bold statement on some items like this knit sweater. This isn’t just a screen printed design, Mickey is actually woven into the knit work of this sweater.
Some pieces had a very in Vogue kind of feel to them as well. You might not notice this jacket is spotted in Mickey Mouse poses at first, but once you notice them you can’t forget them!
The retro zip-front skirt has a similar Mickey spotted print as the jacket above. I’m actually really loving the optical illusion look this print has.
