It’s time, the new Hallmark Disney Christmas Ornaments have started to appear! I’m so delighted and giddy, I look forward to the release of the new Disney ornaments each year, so I can start planning for my tree. As part of the over all Hallmark ornament debut, a select few ornaments were released in store only in very limited quantities, and of course one of them was a Disney one!
The limited edition in store only ornament features Pluto as Santa’s little helper, dressed up as a reindeer! Pluto holds a textured wreath with hidden Mickey holly berries, and a jingle bell tied to his tail. Thirteen additional ornaments joined the rest of the Disney Christmas 2017 collection on October 7th as well.
All of the new ornaments are just beautiful, and I’m loving some of the newer character nods as well. Some highlights from the Hallmark Disney Christmas Ornament Debut are above. Baby Dory and her parents are part of the 2017 Keepsake collection, and is a perfect family ornament. A new Olaf ornament joins the party this year, and seems inspired by the new Frozen short coming this November. Mickey dressed as Santa is always a classic, and I love seeing new updated versions each year.
Moana also sails into the collection this year, complete with her friend the Sea. Mickey is a hidden surprise in Minnie’s snowman, with a snowflake accent dangle. Ariel is joined by Flounder this year, in a chandelier style ornament featuring beads that mimic ocean bubbles.
There is a light up ornament again this year, and it showcases Cinderella’s glass slipper! The famous Cinderella glass slipper sits atop a pillow and illuminates at the touch of a button for the ultimate in regal tree decor.
A personal favorite of mine this year is the Mickey’s Christmas Carol Book Ornament. Shaped like a book, this Christmas ornament holds a surprise inside! You can open it to find a small version of the story that you can read with your family! This ornament is truly incredible, and sure to be a family favorite!
There are also wooden ornaments this year that are very different from anything I have noticed from Hallmark in the past… (keep in mind, I’m not an aficionado on Hallmark ornaments so if they have done it in the past, I’m sorry). You can check out the new Disney Holiday Ornaments, and more here!
