The Gingerbread Castle is always a sight to behold at the Contemporary Resort. This year the castle features replicas of Mickey and Minnie as their 50th anniversary statues. Behind the castle, you’ll find the facade of It’s a Small World. I can barely frost a sugar cookie, so I’m in awe of this kind of talent. It’s purely Disney magic which makes sense to have The Fairy Godmother on the merchandise. Sit back and have a cuppa tea in her honor!
Years ago, I received a Clock ornament at an exchange with Fairy Godmother as she dips her Gingerbread into a mug as she recited a poem. I know that sounds random, but it was the cutest ornament. Every year my daughters fought over who got to hang her on the tree. They are older now and the ornament no longer speaks, but it was the first thing I thought of when I saw this mug.
The mug features the fabulous Fairy Godmother, whom I still believe creates the Gingerbread castle, with Gus and Jaq in hand. It’s a half circle shape with a “side car” for holding your gingerbread! That’s perfect for keeping crumbs contained! Contemporary Resort is emblazoned across the gingerbread pocket. Candy cane stripes line the mug’s handle.
