I will be the first to admit that I was sitting here at 3am EST, ready to see what silhouettes of the new Tangled Dooney & Bourke Collection would drop. There may only be two, but when you see the back of the bags, you will also have the best day ever!
There is a tote bag ($248)! This bag has the same artwork we had sneaked on the front, but now we can see the back. It’s all about the lanterns! I am a sucker for anything that has to do with the lanterns, so I am thrilled to see this. I do feel, however, that on the tote, the zipper ruins the line a bit. Maybe that’s just me.
Now, when I tell you that the first note of the song I See the Light causes me to sob, I am not lying. Anyone who knows me knows this. To have I see the light on the bottom of the tote bag…. well, needless to say, they know their audience!
The crossbody ($228) is the same artwork front and back, but there is no zipper on the back! That means no ruining the art! There also isn’t anything written on the bottom so I guess it depends on what pulls at your heartstrings more.
