Some of you may recall that I am a runDisney fan and have participated in a couple of events. I can’t even pinpoint which part of the experience is my favorite. The expo, the race, the medal… all are pretty phenomenal. I am going to whole heartedly admit, though, my favorite part may be putting together my costume. Now this new collection by Champion is not exactly what I would call a costume BUT it is crazy fin to train in! This new collection is clearly inspired by our fave female mouse, Minnie, and will be introduced at the Walt Disney World Marathon weekend January 7- 11th, 2015.
Minnie Mouse has inspired Champion to create a line of workout wear that includes a seamless, polka dot bra, a “Run Your Ears Off” tee shirt and a pair of seamless capri pants. Apparently the bra and the capri pants are chafe resistant and were created based on feedback from research done on runDisney participants. I know that I never answered any questions for this kind of research but I would have definitely agreed that chafe resistant is a perk! The tee shirt has Champion Vapor Technology which is made to dry faster while you heat up.
I mentioned above that it will be available at the Walt Disney World Marathon in January and, to be more specific, it will be at the Champion Athleticwear booth during the runDisney Health & Fitness Expo at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex. For those of you that are running and have never run a runDisney event before, the expo is where you pick up your bib and info etc, so you will be there anyway! It’s not even an extra trip. Why not just stop by and see if there’s anything in the collection that strikes your fancy?

I wish I could tell you but they haven’t released that info yet as far as I can tell. I think the first we will know is at the expo.
I’m running the marathon and have been wondering if they run out of stuff at the expo? Also, when is the best time to go to the expo; I can got Thursday afternoon/evening or Friday morning. Thanks!
I have seen them run out of the stuff at the expo but that’s not usually till later Friday or Saturday morning. I would go as soon as you can. They do stock well but the biggest weekends of the year are the first two runDisney events so they still get low on stock.Good luck!
