It was a week or so ago that I speculated at what the print for the new Pixar Dooney and Bourke bags would be. I was really hoping for an all over Pixar character print and it is exactly what I got! Here is a sneak peek at the new Pixar inspired Dooney and Bourke print.
First off, I would like to thank Corinne at Disneylifestylers on IG for allowing me to share her pic. This print is exactly what I was hoping for! It may look familiar, if you have been following all of my Pixar Fest merchandise posts, because it is the print of the new AP button up shirt.
What we have learned is that there will be Pixar inspired Dooneys available for everyone, not just AP holders. The AP holders will just have their own silhouette like in previous releases. That’s fantastic news from all the fashionistas that are not Disneyland AP holders!
There has been mixed news about when the bags will be released so let me try and clear up what I have heard. The 2 bags above are the letter carrier and the wallet/wristlet. These are said to be released in May and they are not the AP silhouette.
The AP silhouette is more of the bucket crossbody (from what I have heard from cast members) like the design for the I Am Ear Hat pattern. It is not set to release until June, if sources are correct. This could be for the opening of Pixar Pier but take that with a grain of salt.
That’s what we know, fashionistas! What do you think of the new print? Are you a fan? Let us know your thoughts in the comment box below!
