I wish I was going to be in Disneyland next weekend, Sept 3-6th, foe the Disneyland Half Marathon Weekend! I am currently training for the Wine and Dine Half Marathon at Walt Disney World in November so I can relate to the excitement everyone participating in the Disneyland Half Marathon is feeling. There is some fabulous new merchandise that was revealed, including a new Dooney and Bourke bag! Let’s take a sneak peak at what’s in store for the participants of the Disneyland Half Marathon Weekend!
There are always many sought-after items at any runDisney event. This year, those include performance tees, jackets and tanks, as per the usual. Of course, the ever-popular mens’ and ladies’ tees emblazoned with the “I Did It” message on it and course map on the back continue to be fan favorites. I certainly do love the color of the ladies shirt!!
You’ll find plenty of themed merchandise, including men’s and ladies’ tees with Dumbo Double Dare and “Fly to the Finish” logos on it along with a tank, jackets and car magnets. I, personally, cannot even fathom doing all that running, because the half marathon is plenty for me, but, if I could do all those races, I know I would want to reward myself with some merchandise to celebrate it!
It doesn’t stop there, with all the tee shirt merchandise. Look for an additional “I Did It” tee to debut for the Disneyland 5K, along with a Disneyland 10K tee featuring Captain Hook, Hades and Maleficent. There really is something for everyone!
Since I am really not a big tee shirt girl, though one is simply a requirement to commemorate the event in my book, the above new Dooney and Bourke is much more up my alley. Here’s a look at the pattern that will appear on several silhouettes including a cross-body, tote and wristlet. The preorder for participants is already complete but there are usually a few extra on hand. Sometimes, if truly lucky, they will appear at various locations afterwards, and can be purchased there. When I was at Disneyland a couple of weeks ago, there was a large tote from the Disneyland Half Marathon last year available!
