Let’s be real, since August we’ve all been stocking up our Halloween wardrobe. It’s so close to Halloween now that I can taste all of those Kit Kat bars that I will be eating. It’s time to end out Halloween shopping on a high note and get some of the items from the Hot Topic NBC Collection.
Sally
We’ll start the collection off strong with our favorite leading lady, Sally. There are several pieces that will let us channel our inner ghoul. The first one is this Sally Crop Top. This top is made for relaxation. It has a relaxed fit that will allow you to stay comfy all season long. It is inspired by Sally’s signature style and pairs perfectly with the Sally Split Girls Sweatpants. This outfit is great for relaxing by the fire or running out to the store on a brisk fall morning. I really like that only one side of the pants looks like Sally’s dress, while the other side is black. It adds to the overall theme of the look by making them look even more like patchwork. It’s almost as though the sweatpants were two different pairs of pants that had been stitched together as well.
Jack
The collection also includes several Jack pieces. The first is the Jack Intarsia Sweater. You really can’t get much comfier than this oversized sweater! Jack stares out of the sweater as he stands in front of the moon.
Anyone hoping to stand out in the crowd needs to add the Jack Velvet Girls Hooded Cape to their collection. Not only is this cape super soft, but it also has a subtle design with Jack’s face, bones, and filigree all over. There is even a hood and a button-up clasp at the top.
Another standout option is the Jack Waistcoat Vest. Jack can be seen on the collar of this vest, with ivy all around him. This black and white, half pinstriped vest even has coattails! People will be asking if you took it from Jack’s closet!
There is even a matching Jack Stripe Skirt to complete the look! This skirt has pleats, two lace ties on top, and even Jack’s face embroidered next to the lace ties.
General NBC Apparel
There are also a few items that feature other NBC characters. For example, the Nightmare Before Christmas Icons Wide Leg Denim Pants. Here we see Jack, Sally, and even Zero during different parts of the movie. I love the look of pure joy that Zero has as he flies with the bats on one of the legs.
These pants would look great with The Nightmare Before Christmas Sherpa Cardigan. Jack and Oogie are the real stars of this cardigan. I need to get one for myself because it has so many uses. The cardigan can keep you warm and toasty this fall and can also have you looking cute at the next ugly holiday sweater party that you attend.
Finally, there is also the Oogie Boogie Split Hoodie. One side of this hoodie is neon green, while the other is black. On the green side, Oogie glairs in front of a black background, while on the black side he looks slightly less scary on a green background. You can find me wearing this hoodie year-round because it is one of the least purely Halloween themed options.
