It’s time to brush up on your German! A new pair of “Ich Liebe Edelweiss” Minnie Mouse Ears have landed at the Germany Pavillion in Epcot’s World Showcase.
To put it simply, these ears are stunning! I absolutely love the design, the beautiful embroidery, the colors, and the attention to detail. However, if you are like me and do not speak German, you may be wondering what these ears actually say.
Don’t worry, I already did the Google translation for you! “Ich liebe Edelweiss” quite literally translates to “I love Edelweiss.” And If you are like me and have no clue what that means either, I already did that Google search as well! Edelweiss is a white flower with woolly, star-shaped petals. The flower grows in the Alps and is a symbol of Switzerland, but also of Alpine Germany and Austria.
Okay, now that our research is completed, let’s get back to talking about these ears! They truly are something special. I think they might be one of my favorite ears that we have seen come out of the World Showcase recently. The embroidery is really lovely, and I think they are just fabulous for summer.
