One of my favorite scenes in The Little Mermaid is the opening scene where Ariel is trying to get Flounder to come along on her adventure. Flounder really wants to be brave to impress Ariel, but his inner anxieties are taking the wheel. In this scene, he shakily confirms “I’m not a Guppy!”
