I’ve not yet made it to the United Kingdom (excluding EPCOT of course) but when I do I want to hear people say hello mate as I show them my fabulous UK inspired Disney Dooney! Today’s the day the newest collection is available on shopDisney!
When I do make it to the United Kingdom next summer (already booked my trip), I have a list a mile long of things I want to see and do. I have to ride a double decker bus and take a picture in a red phone booth. I want to see Big Ben and London Bridge, too! So many things to see and do! Clearly Mickey and Minnie feel the same way because they can be found doing all these things on the new Dooney and Bourke bags!
When I go to France, I love speaking the language. Clearly, I speak English but there are so many expressions that are uniquely British that I can’t wait to hear (and maybe even try) while I am there. These expressions can also be found on this print! So fabulous!
There are 3 silhouettes in this collection. There is a crossbody ($198) and 2 different satchels ($268 and $298), There isn’t a wallet or tote this time around which is interesting. I am excited about the silhouettes as 2 of them are not the norm and I love diversity in my collection.
The crossbody (seen above) is slightly larger than an ambler but without the two different compartments on top. I think this will actually make it a little easier to fit everything inside. This one I am going to hope arrives at Disney Parks soon as I will want to pick the perfect placement. For me, the placement above won’t do.
The first satchel is slightly less expensive than the next, at $268. This is s silhouette we see fairly common I Disney Dooneys and it’s a fan favorite for sure.
The larger satchel retails for $298. and has that convenient front pocket. The only problem with the front pocket is that it breaks up the pattern and makes it harder for perfect placement. As you can see, the print is rather large and on the smaller bag, there is the risk of not having either of our favorite mice of even only one on the front of the bag.
We originally thought this bag was navy but it now looks more like black, red, and yellow from the pops of yellow on Mickey and Minnie’s shoes. The trim is a lovely red that really contrasts against the black, as well.
You can find each of these bags on shopDisney HERE!
