Thomas Kinkade Studios has announced the upcoming retirement of two pieces of art. Both of these pieces are stunning and would make an excellent addition to any Disney home.
“Main Street USA, Walt Disney World Resort”
The first piece that is retiring on August 27, 2021, is “Main Street USA, Walt Disney World Resort”. This is my favorite piece from Thomas Kinkade Studios and I am so honored to have it hanging in my home. I could not resist setting up a little photoshoot when I received it.
Ten years ago I worked as a College Program participant at the Magic Kingdom on Main Street, USA. I left a piece of my heart there and it will always hold special meaning to me. That’s one of the reasons I am thrilled to own this beautiful piece from Thomas Kinkade Studios. “Main Street USA, Walt Disney World” captures the magic of nighttime in front of Cinderella Castle. The color palette is stunning and it really is even more gorgeous in person!
“Disneyland, 50th Anniversary”
The other piece that is retiring on August 27th, 2021 is “Disneyland, 50th Anniversary”. It is another look at Main Street, USA, but front a different coast. This lovely piece places Sleeping Beauty Castle as the focus as it is festooned with decorations, flags, and banners celebrating Disneyland’s 50th. If you were able to travel to Disneyland for the 50th Anniversary, this piece of art is a fabulous way to commemorate that unforgettable vacation.
