How soon do you let your guests know that they’ve entered a Disney home? I like to let people know right up front by placing a Disney inspired doormat outside! We’ve shared Disney inspired doormats before, but this doormat inspired by The Emperor’s New Groove made me laugh out loud. Take a look at this fun and functional Disney discovery.
If you love The Emperor’s New Groove (and you should!), then this doormat is perfect for you! It’s greeting and design are sure to bring a chuckle to both you and your guests. It’s based on the scene in the movie when Yzma yells “Pull the lever Kronk!” Kronk pulls the lever and they both fall through a trapped door. Yzma can then be heard yelling “Wrong lever!” This scene always makes me laugh and is just oh-so-quotable.
This natural beige colored doormat is delicately hand painted with outdoor quality black paint, cured in the warm Florida sunshine and sealed with a clear protectant. Each mat has unique variations (slight color/texture) due to the natural material used. A covered porch is the best spot to put this decorative item as the more it is kept from being directly exposed to the elements, the longer the finish will last.
