It is almost exactly three months until the new Little Mermaid movie comes out and I am bubbling with excitement. The poor unfortunate souls who have to live with me are in trouble because I have already started listing to the original soundtrack. It’s been a sing-a-long almost every night. I can barely contain my excitement and now that these new Little Mermaid Items are here, I am flipping my fins with joy.
The first item is this Little Mermaid keychain. I love how sweet and innocent Ariel looks. It’s almost like she just washed up on shore and is happy that we have found her. The only thing better would have been if we were Prince Eric. There is a metal clip that looks extremely sturdy. I’d feel comfortable putting the keys to my treasure chest on this for sure.
This Little Mermaid Backpack is just what I have been looking for to hold all of my latest Disney treasures. It’s the perfect size to take with you on a trip to the beach this summer or to the parks. I can see myself filling it with sunscreen, sunglasses, water, hair clips, and maybe even a towel. It has a small, zip-up pocket at the front, two small mesh pockets, one on each side, and a large compartment at the top of the bag. It has an aqua body, with pink and gold accents. There are even golden shells and seaweed on the top of the bag and stitched in with Ariel on the zip-up pocket.
Once you get home, you’ll want to treat yourself and your fellow adventurers to a special treat. This cake pedestal will make you feel extra fancy as you devour all sorts of yummy treats. Ariel, Flounder, and Sebastian all swim on the bottom of the dish. I think that they are secretly hoping that you might drop a bite.
And your guest will feel like undersea royalty when they sip their tea from this Ariel Tea for One Set. The set includes a small teapot, shell-inspired saucer, and teacup. The teacup looks like the pearl at the center of the iridescent saucer.
And, after you have finished your tea party, the set conveniently stacks together for easy storage.
After a long day of searching for treasure, you’ll want to relax. What better way to relax than by curling up in bed with this pearl accent light and reading? I love the opal colors and the fact that the pearl is the light. It’s really a statement piece.
And while you are reading and relaxing, you can rest your head on this Little Mermaid pillow. It’s very muted colors remind me of a coastal spring sky. The pillow would go with a wide range of colors and also many different room themes. I think that it would be fun to pair it with my Little Mermaid Vera Bradley blanket. I could also see it being used in some wicker furniture. That way everyone can appreciate how pretty it is.
All of these wonderful Little Mermaid Items are currently available in stores at the parks. We are keeping our fins crossed that they will all be on shopDisney soon. Hopefully, in time for the movie premiere! Also, the tea set and matching cake stand have already swum their way online!
