Sleeping Beauty is my favorite Princess by a landslide. And as much as I love her, I love her fairies even more. I have a special connection with Merryweather because she reminds me of my aunt. Whenever I see something with Sleeping Beauty’s fairies, it automatically goes into my shopping cart, no matter what. I’ve already started pre-ordering the entire Loungefly Sleeping Beauty Castle Collection.
The first item in the collection is the Sleeping Beauty Stained Glass Castle Mini Backpack. The castle stands proudly in the background as Flora, Fauna, and Merryweather float around in their own personal bubbles in the foreground. Each bubble is also a tiny zipper compartment.
Look at the back of the bag and you will see why the bag has stained glass in its name. Here we see baby Aurora with her mom and dad. The photo looks like it was taken directly from the fairytale.
The second bag in the collection is the Sleeping Beauty Stained Glass Castle Crossbody Bag. This bag is very similar in design to the mini backpack and even has the stained glass storybook picture on the back. Unlike the mini backpack, this bag only has one bubble compartment on the front, with Merryweather inside. Flora and Fauna can be seen floating in their own separate bubbles on the bag’s strap. The bag’s golden hardware really stands out on this bag and looks a lot like Aurora’s crown.
The bag section of this collection ends with the Sleeping Beauty Stained Glass Castle Zip Around Wallet. While the bubble theme carries over from the other bags in the collection, the scene in the background of baby Aurora’s bassinet is different from the other items.
On the inside of the wallet, you see silhouettes of all three fairies in their own respective colors. Specks of yellow fairy dust flutters on the blue background. There are several card slots and a see-through ID holder with a tiara cut out of the center.
Finally, there is also a hoodie in the collection. The hoodie continues the castle and bubbles theme that we saw in the rest of the collection.
This time though, we get a more complete picture of the scenery and everything around the castle. I think that the pink clouds in the powder blue sky is a wonderful touch. I also think that it is really neat that the scene continues onto the sleeve.
You can preorder the entire Loungefly Sleeping Beauty Castle Collection today on the Happy Mile Style website. It will make its royal entrance in November, just in time for the Holiday season.
