Why, oh why, are all the cool merchandise events I want to check out taking place right around when I am going to be at Disney Parks for my wedding?! I mean, really! I would love to partake in some of these events. Most importantly, the one that is happening today! Let me show you what’s happening.
See the figurines? Those are more Jim Shore specialty pieces. I adore his work. Disney Traditions artist Jim Shore returns to the Art of Disney for a special appearance and signing of his latest Haunted Mansion inspired piece featuring the Hatbox Ghost. Jim will be meeting with guests from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m TODAY! Why am I not going to be there?! Why can’t he be there at the end of the week when I arrive! I love this piece!
October 12-16 – Artist Greg McCullough will be meeting with guests each day from 1:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Art of Disney. He will also make an appearance at the location from October 27-31. His artwork is in the trolley picture on the left above.
October 20-25 – Guests can meet artist David Doss from 1:00 to 9:00 p.m. each day in the Art of Disney. His work is the picture of Olaf on the right.
If you haven’t been to the WonderGround Gallery at Marketplace Co-op, you are missing out. I can’t go in there and walk out without some cool piece of art. From October 21-23 artist Dave Perillo will be there! On Friday and Saturday, Dave will be meeting with guests from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. On Sunday, he will appear at the location from 12 Noon to 3:00 p.m. These retro pieces of art would look even better with his autograph!
Who doesn’t find these Precious Moments dolls cute? The word “precious” is built right into the title! New Precious Moments dolls will be released at Marketplace Fun Finds starting September 29. The dolls are part of the “Boo-tiful You” 2016 Collection and include dolls inspired by Cinderella, Fairy Godmother, Tinker Bell and other Disney Characters. Guests can meet Precious Moments doll designer Linda Rick on September 30 to October 2 and from October 7-9 at the location. Wait… I can meet her! Amazeballs!
