I know many of you swooned along with us when Disney announced the release of their popcorn bucket ornaments. Such a clever way to collect and display memorabilia on a space-conscious scale. Well, butter my popcorn and call me happy, look what’s popping up online June 9th!
The special edition Disneyland 70th Anniversary popcorn bucket has been miniaturized into an ornament for your home decor. The Mickey head shaped balloon features the main mouse himself donning his 70th anniversary celebratory costume. I love the use of teals, purples and pinks found on this popcorn bucket!
Pluto poses on one ear of the bucket while Donald can be found on the other. A special decorative 70th anniversary shoulder strap creates the perfect loop from which to hang the ornament. Since the actual popcorn bucket illuminates, and the previous ornaments do as well, we can only hope that this release will also treat us to lighting up as well!
