With the first season of Disney Design Challenge complete, of course there has to be a winner. And what that means for us is a new Disney inspired fashion collection! This season followed fashion students at Otis College of Art and Design as they created looks inspired by Frozen. Seems easy enough, right? But to add a fashionable twist, the designs also needed to reflect the neighborhoods of Los Angeles.
At the D23 Expo, the Disney Design Challenge winners’ designs were revealed for the very first time. And the best part? You can shop the looks now at Nineteenth Amendment.
There are a total of found winning looks in this Frozen X Otis designs, including two from first place winner Alice Xuan. Xuan’s bohemian collection was inspired by Princess Anna, as you can clearly see on these shorts.
Second place winner, Minji Park, designed an Anna-inspired jumpsuit. I’m really not getting as much of an Anna or Frozen vibe from this jumpsuit, but it’s still a great piece for early Fall. Just change out your footwear for the changing weather.
Third place winner, Jinny Song, created a street style version of Kristoff’s practical fashion choices. Especially in the first picture, I am definitely getting a strong Kristoff vibe! Maybe it’s the satchel/fanny pack, or even the cut of the shirt, but I can totally see a modern day Kristoff rocking this look. And as a bonus, the inside of the men’s zipper hoodie features Kristoff’s favorite phrase, “Reindeers are better than people.”
If you are ready to shop the designs from the Frozen X Otis Disney Design Challenge, head over to Nineteenth Amendment now! The collection is made on-demand in the USA.
What do you think of the winning designs? Are you feeling the Frozen vibe, or are these looks not really your style? Let me know what you think!
