I’ve been wearing red, pink, and hearts since around January 2nd when I got rid of all of my red and green. It helps to make the long, cold winters in the north a little brighter. My most recent pick-me-up comes straight from the great people at Her Universe. I’m looking forward to celebrating as much as I can with all of this Mickey & Minnie Valentine’s Day Merch.
The first item in the collection is a Fabulous pair of mom jeans. The first time I saw Mom jeans, I’ll be honest, I said that I didn’t think that I would ever wear them. I figured that, given my size and shape, they would never be flattering on me. It turns out that I was wrong! They still run quite large, but are flattering at the same time. Mickey and Minnie are on either side of these jeans in a faded print. I love the way that they look because the faded colors make them look retro, just like the fit of the jeans.
The back of the jeans also have a slightly retro design. There is a little heart with an arrow that looks like something that might have been etched into a tree.
Next up is an adorable mini backpack. The more that I looked at this bag, the more I said “Aww!”Mickey and Minnie sail through the air in heart-shaped balloons. Mickey gazes happily up at Minnie with a loving grin. The pair’s balloons are even tethered together by a rope with little hearts dangling from it.
Mickey and Minnie join forces on the back of the bag and sit together in one hot air balloon.
If you can’t get enough of the backpack, you’re in luck because there is also a matching crossbody. This bag has a slightly updated look because the colors are more rich and vibrant. There are also little pink and red hearts floating in the air around Minnie and Mickey.
Finally, there is also a Zipper Wallet to complete the look. The wallet is a good mix of both bags, so it could pair interchangeably with either one. It has the subtle coloring of the mini backpack but has the hearts in the air like the crossbody. It’s the perfect combination of both bags. Like the mini backpack, it also has a key chain with little heart charms in several shades of red and pink.
