I have become a huge parade fan in recent years, so every time there is a new one it goes on my must-see list! The new “Magic Happens” Parade that is premiering on February 28th, 2020 at Disneyland Park is definitely on that list! Now I just need to make it to California to check out all the magic!
This new parade looks absolutely, well, magical! Each float represents magical moments at the heart of some of your favorite Disney stories! Our favorite leader of the pack, Mickey, will lead this pixie-dusted parade down Main Street, U.S.A.! The upbeat music that accompanies this parade will definitely please our parade music fans! It will even feature a new song Todrick Hall co-composed!
The artist concept sneak peeks of these floats from the Disney Parks Blog are simply stunning, so I want to show them off here too! First is this fabulous Frozen II float featuring Anna, Elsa, Olaf, Sven, Kristoff, and even Nokk, the water spirit!
Next is Moana on a voyager canoe surrounded by life-giving water! Of course, Maui and Pua are also along for the ride on their own island!
Miguel, alebrije spirit animals, and Danté create a bridge from the Land of the Living to the Land of the Dead on this Coco float!
The last sneak peek we have is this fabulous grand finale float that features magical moments from some of our favorite classic Disney films! You can spot the three fairies from Sleeping Beauty along with Aurora dancing with Prince Phillip. Just like in the film, her dress magically switches between pink and blue!
There are going to be so many magical touches on these floats, so I don’t want to give away all of the surprises! Maybe you’ll just have to visit when the “Magic Happens” Parade premiers on February 28th!
