I have a new addiction and that is an addiction to anything from Storybook Cosmetics. Recently, we shared the artwork for a new collection of brushes that we are hoping will go into production but today we are sharing a set that is definitely in production! These makeup brushes are coming just in time to celebrate one of our favorite Disney fairytales… Beauty and the Beast!
Let me start by saying that these are not Beauty and the Beast brushes, they are actually inspired by a Shakespeare quote, of all things. I love me some Shakespeare, don’t get me wrong, but roses are now synonymous with Beauty and the Beast in my world. These are called “What’s in a Name Rose Brush Bouquet” from Storybook Cosmetics and they are gorgeous, no matter what the inspiration. I picture many a Disney bride wanting these while they get ready on their wedding day. Even more so if the wedding is Beauty and the Beast inspired!
Let’s actually talk about the picture released of the artwork for these brushes. The handles are stems and the brushes themselves are tinted red! I am obsessed. I am thinking they would even be perfect as a shower gift for any Disney bride (I still have Disney weddings on the brain, clearly). I am wondering how it will feel to hold a handle that is bent and somewhat jagged. I guess I will find out soon enough!
These are supposed to be released sometime this Spring, They are currently in production! I find it very coincidental that they are going to be out in the same relative time frame as the live action Beauty and the Beast film!
