Mary Poppins Returns is being released in just a few short weeks and I for one am more than a little excited. All the merchandise that is popping up is just adding fuel to my fire! The release of the Kipling Mary Poppins Returns Collection is no exception!
I had the pleasure of actually seeing this collection in person (that’s rare considering I live in a smaller town) at Disney Springs and I wanted all of it! The quality is that of what we would expect from Kipling and the designs are so fun!
As you can see, there are delightful new characters that can be found on much of the merchandise. I always did love the penguin scene but I am intrigued by this delightful elephant. He reminds me of Bing Bong!
Kites are also an important factor in the original film and I am guessing they will make a return in Mary Poppins Returns based on this little beauty!
Many of the larger pieces have this image of Mary floating through the sky surrounded by kites. It’s a whimsical design on a black and blue backdrop with the brightest pops of red. Delightful!
The backpack even has detailing on the straps. I’m guessing in this particular film Mary is feeling all mixed up, based on the wording on the straps. I, personally, like the less patterned background with the Mary images scattered on it. I like the less busy look.
This is my absolute favorite piece in the collection. I love pouches for all kinds of things and this has the classic statement Mary is known for so it needs to be mine. It is practically perfect in every way.
