May has become the month of Star Wars, and not just because of May the Fourth, or Revenge of the Fifth. This May brings an array of Star Wars Franchise Licensee Partners on scene. Old favorites who have joined forces with Star Wars before, and a few new brands have collaborated together for lots of new Star Wars inspirations.
For the first time, “Away” will be releasing a limited-edition collection inspired by the planets in the Star Wars saga. Luggage (see profile pic) inspired by Tatooine, Hoth, and Endor will come in four sizes. The sizes include The Carry-On ($225), The Bigger Carry-On ($245), The Medium ($275), and The Large ($295).
For the first ever, Kipling has also launched a Star Wars collection, inspired by the classic films. The collection features creative details like glow-in-the-dark, and metallic elements. The assortment includes backpacks, pouches, keychains, and more.
In addition to the new licensee partners, many returning licensees are launching new collections to celebrate the Star Wars fan holiday and the upcoming film Solo: A Star Wars Story. New collections from licensees State Bags, Stance, Invicta, UGG, Terez, Her Universe, New Era, Hex, and Nixon will continue to launch throughout the month of May.
The Her Universe Star Wars collection will even be expanding into the “Our Universe” brand realm a bit more. The Our Universe collection offers apparel branches past women’s apparel, and offers unique styles for men and kids too.
