I feel like we were just talking about the possible family friendly tees you could get to wear during Halloween at Disney Parks. It was… it was yesterday. Just one day later, Disney must have heard our cries for more merchandise because the Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party merchandise has been revealed and it is Spelltacular!
Hocus Pocus is always a fan favorite and the Sanderson Sisters shine during the Halloween season. There are a lot of reasons for them to shine when you take a look at the merchandise above! I have the MagicBand from 2 years ago and I am loving the ornament above for this year. If you just want something small, there is even a pin! The tote bag would be great for work, too!
The MagicBand with Mickey and friends is a delight. The box is even a keepsake! The decorative box smells like chocolate, and will have a limited edition size of 4,000. Chocolate?! That’s insanely awesome! This is the first time that a MagicBand glows in the dark, as well, which a fantastic feature for Halloween. This is what the Merchandise Product Developer has to say about the merch, as said on Disney Parks Blog:
“We have a ‘spelltacular’ assortment this year,” laughs Cathy Dawson, Merchandise Product Developer for special events. “We have expanded the number of items featuring the Sanderson Sisters to include a new light up ornament and a tote bag. My favorite item, however, is the glow-in-the-dark retail MagicBand featuring Mickey and friends. This is the first time we’ve offered a MagicBand with that feature so it’s a real treat!”
In theme with the bright colors of the Mickey and Friends MagicBand, there is other merchandise for MNSSHP that has nothing to do with the Sanderson Sisters. Guests attending the event will find apparel for adults and kids, a light-up pumpkin ornament, and a limited release logo pin. They gray shirt appears to be the Annual Passholder shirt for this year.
The Annual Passholder pin this year hosts Hades from Hercules. There are a host of other pins available, like last year. This year they involve cauldrons that open to portray key scenes from the classic films that villain is known for.
Select pins will be sold as individual limited edition pins, each with an edition size of 5,400. These pins will also be sold in a boxed set (1,000 edition size) and a framed set (300 edition size), each containing limited edition completer pins.
Finally, guests will find a limited release mystery pin set with world famous Disney characters dressed in Halloween costumes. There are a total of 12 pins in this collection, which includes four limited edition chaser pins (1,000 edition size each). Each box contains two randomly selected pins.
The best locations to find these items during the event is Emporium on Main Street, U.S.A. and Big Top Souvenirs in the Storybook Circus area of New Fantasyland. Frontier Trading Post in Frontierland will also offer the event pins.
