We all went crazy for the Minnie Mouse Kate Spade Collection that I sneak peaked back in January. Then there was the second installment, that most of us didn’t know was coming, that debuted the coin purse we had all been waiting for. It’s obvious that one of my favorite designers, Kate Spade, likes to keep us on our toes. She has done it again with a whole new collection debuting this December! Miss Piggy is the newest muse for the holiday collection!
Let’s talk about Miss Piggy for a minute. She isn’t just known for being Kermit the Frog’s leading lady. She is also known for her fashion sense and insane confidence. I wish I had one ounce of her confidence! She loves glitter, pink, furs…. all of these things showcase her insanely stylish fashion sense. The new Kate Spade Collection also showcases many of Miss Piggy’s obsessions (though not Kermie), as seen in one of the pieces from the collection (shown above).
Honestly, the coat, shoes, dress and bag shown above all look similar to the items she is wearing in the outfit she presents on the first item we shared from the collection. I love that the collection is so cohesive and, yet, not in an obvious way. I could rock every single piece shown above but, undoubtedly, not with Miss Piggy’s confident flair.
Are we sensing a pattern here? Miss Piggy’s catch phrase has always been “Who Moi?”. Kate Spade took it and ran with it! I am loving the pink sweater the most! I could easily pair it with the earrings and clutch, though!
Whether it’s a glittery wallet or Miss Piggy necklace, there is something for you in this collection. It all depends on how bold you want to be! Don’t you want to be the envy all the fashionistas out there, like Miss Piggy? This collection is definitely for you!
Miss Piggy will be fronting the brand’s holiday ad campaign (alongside human style muses Jourdan Dunn and Catherine Baba) along with starring in the above collection, It is said to hit stores December 1st, as well as online at Katespade.com. Items that range from $48 to $378 which is on point with her previous Disney inspired collection.
I was surprised the Minnie Mouse Collection didn’t sell out quite as quickly as I suspected it would so maybe you can get lucky if you are hoping for a piece from this collection for the holidays. These would make great holiday gifts or great accessories for yourself for holiday parties!
