We all love the fabulous and delicious treats that can be found across the Disney Parks. Now, get your dose of sugar at Disney Wonderful World of Sweets at the Downtown Disney District at Disneyland Resort!
This sugary paradise includes treats such as Werther’s Original Caramel Popcorn (one of my favorites!), caramel apples, churro toffee, and so much more! From lollipops to sour balls, you will feel like you have stepped into the candy factory of your dreams.

Tasty Details Everywhere You Look
As soon as you walk through the door, you will have entered a magical realm of candy, sugar, and everything yummy! No matter where you look, you are sure to spot sugary details. For example, swirled lollipops decorate the ceiling, and a pastel mural of candy inspired Disneyland Park attractions can be found on one wall.
Even the outside of the shop is themed! One of the outdoor window displays even features a nod to the past – a train traveling through a candy mountain is delivering treats to Marceline, Missouri: Walt Disney’s hometown.
Wonderful World of Poppi
For even more added fun, there is a charming new batch of candy characters to meet and enjoy! Walt Disney World may have Orange Bird and Figment, but now Disneyland has Poppi!
Poppi is an original Disney character developed specifically for the new shop! To kick things off right, Guests can pick up the new Poppi popcorn bucket. At first glance, I thought the popcorn bucket was a take on Joy from Inside Out. However, I love that it’s an all-new character to get to know!
While Poppi is prominently featured throughout the shop, there are even more friends joining in on the fun! You can spot new Disney characters scattered throughout the shop who inhabit this delectable wonderland and are available for purchase.
- Jimmi, an adorable Mickey-shaped marshmallow, is named after the candy sprinkle “jimmies” on a white chocolatey blue hat
- Lolli, a cute lemon cookie with a chocolatey face named after a lollipop
- Fluffi, a charming cotton candy-flavored cake pop
- Bonni, a lovable vanilla cake pop resembling a bonbon
While these treats look almost too cute to eat, I cannot wait to try them all during my next visit! As an added bonus, Mobile Order is available here through the Disneyland app. Skip the line and get the treats? Count me in!
