New Droid Ears are coming! It’s been a while since we have had a release in the Disney Designer Parks Collection and I think many of us have been waiting anxiously! It should be no surprise that the new Droid Ears are coming to us thanks to Her Universe!
May 4th is just around the corner so the timing could not be better. It seems that whenever I take a trip to Disney and want to represent Star Wars, I always lean towards s droid look. I love R2D2 and BB8! We are finally getting a better look at the Ears we sneak peeked back in February!
These Ears have all the qualities you would want in a pair of Ears from Her Universe. I am guessing there are also hidden details that we can’t see in this picture of Ashley Eckstein wearing them. The details on many of the Disney Parks Designer Collection Ears don’t come through as well as they should in pictures. There have been many times I didn’t think I needed a pair and then saw them in person and freaked out! The last pair of Her Universe Ears were actually an example. I own them though. The details are striking!
These Droid Ears have bedazzled details on the ears themselves. You can see the center bow is actually C3P0! The center of the bow looks to have an engraved type center featuring the golden droid.
If you look at the side of the headband, there looks to be a hint of writing! The last set of Her Universe Ears had writing on the inside of the band so I am guessing these do say something on the band as well. Less than 24 hours until we know what!
