As expected, staying at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel is going to look a little bit different right now. Luckily, the Disney Parks Blog released an update about what to expect during your stay! Don’t worry–the safety and health of everyone involved are priorities, but that doesn’t mean you have to sacrifice magic!
At check-in, you will have the option to use Online Check-In and bell services that have been redesigned with safety in mind. There will be increased cleaning in high-traffic areas throughout the hotels like elevators, handrails, benches, tables, handles, restrooms, and pretty much anywhere else bunches of people touch! Plus, there will be hand sanitizer available in tons of locations throughout the property!
Reduced capacity is an important part of maintaining proper social distancing, so areas like lobbies, pools, fitness centers, restaurants, and other public areas will have adjusted capacity and enhanced cleaning. You will also have the ability to use Mobile Ordering at dining locations along with cashless payment options like MagicBands!
Once you enter your room, you will notice that it is cleaner than ever! Enhanced cleaning procedures between Guests will help you feel safe, while light cleaning services during your stay will keep your room clean while avoiding extra contact. Light services will include trash removal and towel and amenity replacements every other day. DVC members will receive their traditional housekeeping services.
Before you arrive, you will receive more details about what to expect upon arrival. Plus, you will get more information about how Disney is helping to keep you safe!
