Happy Haunts are getting ready to materialize throughout the Disney Parks for the 2018 Halloween season! Both Walt Disney World and Disneyland are preparing for the spook-tacular festivities with a whole bunch of new novelty merchandise for guests to enjoy.
Just remember, these novelty food items always sell out fast! So as soon as you see on materialize, make sure to grab it up! This guide will help you navigate through all the new merchandise as you trick-or-treat your way through the Disney Parks this Halloween season.
Popcorn Buckets
Popcorn Buckets are always a huge fan favorite across the Disney Parks! This Halloween, you can expect to spot a couple different designs to add to your growing collection. The Happy Halloween 2018 Base Popcorn Bucket is sure to make Halloween memorable. This year’s design features Mickey and Minnie dressed up for Halloween as well as Chip and Dale designed as adorable little Halloween bats. The base popcorn bucket has a similar design to the one featured on the Happy Halloween 2018 Base Travel Mug. I think I just might need both this year!
The Base Popcorn Bucket can be found at locations throughout Disneyland park, Disneyland Resort, Magic Kingdom Park, Disney’s Animal Kingdom, Epcot, and Disney Springs at Walt Disney World. The base travel mug will be available as a non-refillable mug at Disneyland Resort and as a refillable mug at Walt Disney World.
Also new to Disney California Adventure is the Oogie Boogie Base Popcorn Bucket. This frightfully good popcorn bucket features the sinister Oogie Boogie from Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas. You can even spot a familiar image of the Headless Horseman on this design! This popcorn bucket will be available at the Buena Vista, Grizzly Peak, Pixar Pier, and Hyperion Popcorn Carts.
Okay, now on to the Premium Popcorn Buckets! This year’s design is the new Cauldron Premium Popcorn Bucket which will be available starting mid-September. This light-up bucket will be available on both coasts!
And if you’re still dying to get your hands on last year’s Oogie Boogie Premium Popcorn Bucket, don’t give up hope just yet! The bucket is returning again this year to Disneyland Resort.
Roll the dice with your popcorn-filled Oogie Boogie available at the Disney California Adventure Park Popcorn Carts and at the New Orleans Popcorn Cart at Disneyland Park.
Novelty Drink Items
Now that we have the salty treats covered, let’s move on to the drinks! The Poison Apple Glow Cube is back this year and will be available in three different colors! Guests can find this light-up cube floating in specialty drinks at both Walt Disney World and Disneyland Resorts. But if you’re looking for a matching set up magical trinkets, make sure to also look out for the Green Poison Apple Stein! The Evil Queen herself would be jealous of this evil combination.
Also returning this year is the Headless Horseman Straw clip. You can pick him up at select locations across Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World and throughout the Disneyland Resort.
The Tire Pumpkin Straw is all new for this season and is inspired by Halloween at Cars Land. You can pick up this fun light-up straw at the Cozy Cone Motel, and Flo’s V8 Cafe at Disney California Adventure. Driving to the other coast? No worries! The Tire Pumpkin Straw will also be available at various quick service locations throughout Epcot, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom at Walt Disney World.
My only wish for this light-up straw is that it featured some Mickey ears.
