There are a lot of fabulous Disney films coming our way in the next couple of months and, with Beauty and the Beast a couple of months behind us, that means a new Disney film muse is necessary for fashion collections. While I was shopping at Kohls yesterday, I found the newest muse. There is a new Pirates of the Caribbean Collection that has debuted at Kohls!
The color scheme of the entire collection is red, black and white which is the exact color combination in a pirate’s wardrobe! When I looked through the collection, there were many pieces I had to try on and, seeing that it is a junior collection, I was shocked when I fit into everything I wanted! This gives me hope for all my fellow fashionistas. It will not allow for my fabulous plus sized fashionistas but, if you wear up to a 10 and maybe a 12, you will be pleasantly surprised!
These are the main tee shirts that I saw in the collection. These are both of the cropped style but the small bow detailing at the waist in the back is darling. I, personally, couldn’t pull these off but the skull image certainly makes it obvious it’s pirate themed! There are a couple of others available online, though!
The dresses are quite lovely but they are not my must haves (that means the ones I bought :)). They would, however, be lovely for Pirate night on a Disney cruise! The white dress has a lot of intricate detailing and a sheer chiffon bottom which is super on trend. The black dress has a very bohemian feel.
This ruffle hemmed top lured me in and I did not think it would fit so I wasn’t going to try it on. It has the most perfect shorts to match and I could just see it on me during Pirate night on my upcoming Disney Cruise. I was in shock because an XL fit! It’s mine now! This outfit even goes with the pirate bandana they give you on pirate night!
This is my must have piece… When I tried this on, I didn’t want to take it off! This off the shoulder romper is also very on trend and it was so comfortable! I’m going to wear one of these looks to the movie premiere and one on the cruise. Then I plan to wear them at Disneyland this summer because that is my favorite version of pirates… Disneyland Paris is a close second.
This red smocked off shoulder dress and skirt are both beautiful and perfect for a more dressed up pirate’s night but I didn’t find them super flattering on me. I really loved this skirt. I think it is so versatile and it really reminds of pirates without being a costume!
There are few other pieces of note but I am going to leave some surprises for you. You need to head over to Kohls in person or online and check these out immediately! The looks are fun and flattering and on sale! Kohls is notorious for allowing coupon stacking (I have shared this with you before) and I got these looks for a steal!

It’s pretty obvious that the styles that you’ve posted are for/in a junior size. I kind of like the black dress though that long style is probably not too flattering for my height. However, in the video I liked the white peasant-y embroidered top and the black double button vest (?). I guess I’m going to have to go see it for myself to find out for sure!

They are junior sizes as I said but I was able to wear an XL and I am not exactly junior 🙂 I would definitely check it out.
