In honor of the Lunar New Year, Disney California Adventure is hosting a celebration that will be held from Friday, January 20 through Sunday, February 5. In true Disney style, the celebration will feature food, fun, and festivities! Not to mention new merchandise.
In case you are wondering the Lunar New Year is traditionally celebrated in Chinese, Korean, and Vietnamese cultures. The event celebrates the moment the sun and moon begin their journey for another year. Think of it as a natural New Years Eve. And New Years Eve means parties!
If you are visiting Disney California adventure during the celebration, you will find a t-shirt, magnet, and decoration trinket box. Plus, on January 26, Disney will release a limited edition pin to commemorate the Lunar New Year. This pin will have an edition size 3,500 and will be available in both Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World.
