The Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival begins February 28, for it’s 25th Anniversary in just a couple days. On top of the beautiful floral displays, and delicious tastes, there is also the beautiful commemorative merchandise! This year’s Epcot Flower and Garden Merchandise is filled with stunning and artistic designs. More than 75 items was created for this annual event!
Earlier this month we checked out the collection of limited edition tees headed to the festival. It looks like we’ll have more than just special t-shirts however, I do believe I spy some fetching Flower and Garden accessories styled with this tees, including new hats and ears. There is even a new Mouse-eared baseball cap, with vibrant ears that showcase Spaceship Earth. This year’s headband is covered in flowers, inspired by the millions of blooms and topiaries seen at Epcot.
There are four art collections that have been designed for the festival merchandise, and they complement the Festival’s overall design.
There is the “Mickey’s Grove” collection that features Mickey Mouse, Pluto, and Orange Bird. This collection has an assortment of apparel, accessories, home décor, and more.
Our favorite purple dragon is not forgotten in his very own “Figment Discovers” collection. You’ll find apparel, drinkware, and even garden decor.
The “Fresh Epcot” collection highlights the natural splendor of Florida, and is brightly colored. This collection will have everything from a t-shirt to collectible pins.
Lastly, there is the “Minnie’s Farmhouse Flower Shop” collection. This assortment features gorgeous artwork of Minnie Mouse with her cat Figaro designing beautiful floral creations in her flower shop. This design is not only on t-shirts, and accessories, the new Dooney & Bourke Collection and a MagicBand also show off this artwork.
Annual Passholders attending the event will find a garden of Passholder Exclusives! Including a new Tervis Wine “Glass” that is a must have for me.
Three limited edition MagicBands will be available for the festival this year! Two of the limited-edition retail MagicBands will debut at the start of the festival on February 28th. The Mickey Mouse “Fresh Picked” band has an edition size of 2,000 and even comes in an an orange-scented box. The Passholder Exclusive MagicBand will also debut at the start of the festival, and have an edition size of 2,000 this band matches the “Figment Discovers” collection.
The third band is inspired by the “Minnie’s Farmhouse Flower Shop” collection, and will come in a floral scented box! The Minnie Mouse band will have an edition size of 1,000, and be released at a later date during the festival.
Of course we can’t forget about the gorgeous Dooney & Bourke handbags coming to the festival! These bags feature the “Minnie’s Farmhouse Flower Shop” style. You can find out all the details on these gorgeous bags HERE.
