This past summer at D23 we took a look at the gorgeous new Besame Snow White Cosmetic Collection. This was a special launch and the products were only sold at D23, until it’s official launch. The beautiful Snow White Palette from the 1937 collection will be releasing very soon this fall.
To celebrate the 80th anniversary of “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs” Besame Cosmetics collaborated with Disney to create an exclusive collection, inspired by the original artwork and color palette of the iconic film.
Through careful and considerable research, Besame hand selected and matched the colors from the original color palette provided by Disney’s Ink and Paint Department to create a beautiful and authentic recreation of the colors from Disney’s classic 1937 film. This gives a whole new way to experience the timeless beauty of the original animation that featured Disney’s first princess.
I think this is a fantastic journey for a Disney inspired makeup collection to take. Many collections inspired by the Disney princesses have come before, but this is the first one to truly bring history to life through it’s colors.
The original color names given by the Ink and Pain Department were kept for this palette, to give even more authenticity and to offer a glimpse into the history of Snow White.
The packaging is incredibly detailed, including a mirror that is reminiscent of the Evil Queen’s mirror. There is also a look book to create Snow’s vintage romantic look.
The site is taking email’s “here” now to allow subscriber’s to be notified when they will go on sale. What do you think of this impressively detailed Snow White Palette from Besame Cosmetics?
