We are so excited to experience the new “Magic Happens” Parade at Disneyland Park and all of the tasty treats that are arriving in its honor! We already showed you some of the fabulous merchandise and a sneak peek of the gorgeous parade floats, so now it is time to show off the scrumptious food!
The treat that tops my must-try list has to be this mouthwatering Dulce de Leche Sundae from Gibson Girl Ice Cream Parlor! This tasty treat is a waffle bowl filled with dulce de leche ice cream and topped with bananas, caramel, whipped cream, a sugar cookie shaped like Mickey Mouse, and a cherry on top–Literally!
If you’re looking for other sweet options, you can head over to Jolly Holiday Bakery Café for a Royal Cupcake, which is a classic vanilla cupcake with buttercream icing, or a Dia de los Muertos Hand Pie, which is filled with guava filling!
If you prefer more savory options, make sure you check out the Esquite Hot Dog at Refreshment Corner! This foot-long hot dog is topped with crumbled corn chips, corn esquite mix, cotija cheese, and chili-cayenne powder! It even comes with a side of fruit or chips.
Another savory option is this Island Pork Toasted Sandwich from the Jolly Holiday Bakery Café! This sandwich is stuffed with Black Forest ham, kalua smoked pork, Monterey Jack cheese, pineapple relish, and cilantro! It comes with a side of homemade chips.
If you’re more in the mood for a formal meal, check out the new Plaza Inn Dining Package! With this fabulous package, you get lunch, which includes an entrée and a drink, a Plaza Inn credential, and a voucher that gets you into the reserved viewing area for the parade! The entrée for adults is slow-cooked short rib with chimichurri, fried chicken thigh, pesto-infused mashed potatoes, roasted vegetables, corn relish, and a magical dessert! The kids entrée is chicken tenders, mashed potatoes, corn relish, applesauce or baby carrots, and dessert! They can also choose whether they would prefer bottled water or low-fat milk to drink! Of course, vegetarian options are also available! This dining package is a great way to try a fantastic meal and get guaranteed fabulous viewing for the parade!
