No Lie, Emperor’s New Groove Dooney & Bourke Bags Are The Real Deal

I am counting down the days until August 22nd! Not because it’s almost the fair or my birthday, but because that’s the day that the new Emperor’s New Groove Dooney & Bourke Bags comes out! They combine three of my loves: fashion, llamas, and Disney, of course!

When I first saw the preview for these bags, I knew that I was in trouble. There are just so many wonderful things about this collaboration. It looks like there will be a least three bags. A satchel, a tote, and a crossbody bag. Each bag has llamas grazing on a vibrant turquoise background. The silver hardware and brown and turquoise leather accents add to the class and sophistication of the bags.

When I think about Dooney & Bourke, I think timeless, class, and sophistication. I only own one Dooney & Bourke bag that was given to me by my step-grandmother when I was 16 to symbolize me getting older. Since then, Dooney & Bourke has always had a special place in my heart. I’m looking forward to adding another piece to my purse collection.

While this is a very classy bag, in true Emperor’s New Groove form, there is an element of humor in the collection. I find it hilarious that Llama Kuzco is trying to blend in with the rest of the normal llamas. As hard as he tries, you can clearly spot which llama is Kuzco.
