It’s no secret that 70’s fashion trends are being brought into Spring 2021 collections. The new Play in the Park dress from The Dress Shop is Disney’s newest fashion to follow current trends!
This dress not only has the feel of a retro design but the colors scream 1970s to me! The orange, blue, green, and yellow are really a throwback to the year that Walt Disney World opened. We are about to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Magic Kingdom!
The silhouette is one that is flattering on many body types. I actually love the neckline and the collar is something that really brings me back (I used to love to pop my collar!). The short sleeves are a refreshing change from all the sleeveless styles we see. Some of us don’t want to show off our upper arms!
The chevron print is flattering in all the right places! On top of that print, you will find Images of some of our favorite characters and attractions at the Parks. I’m guessing this is where they came up with the name of this dress…. Play in the Park.
In case you were wondering how I knew what the name was, it’s right there on the back! I really like the embroidery on the upper back of this dress. Sadly, my hair is on the longer side and I fear you wouldn’t be able to see the words.
This Play in the Park dress is currently available at The Dress Shop at Marketplace Co-op in Disney Springs. I am guessing you will also find it at Uptown Jewelers and Legends of Hollywood, as well. It is $128.
