One thing that I am really disappointed about this Halloween is that I don’t have any little kids to dress up! Many of my friends have young children who are at the perfect Halloween age. They are old enough to get excited and stay awake for trick-or-treating, but young enough that they are still willing to get dressed up in whatever cute outfit their parents pick out. While I don’t have any children yet, my family does have a dog. Scotty is the perfect size for dressing up in fun costumes and he doesn’t seem to mind! This year, I am going to go straight to Disney and make sure that Scotty has the most adorable Pet Costumes (He needs more than one because we will be celebrating all month long!) that I can find!
The first costume that is available is the Flounder costume. Your pet will look exactly like Ariel’s BFF while sporting this fun yellow costume. Flounder’s head goes around the head of your pet and he even has two small fins and a tail. I would have a hard time not laughing at Scotty while he was rocking this look!
Your pet can also dress like Pascal! The scales on this costume look so life-like, you might think that you adopted a reptile and lost your dog! There is even a curly tail and two big eyes. The green inner lining of the costume looks very warm, which makes it a great option for Halloween in Northern New York. In the past, we’ve had a lot of snow on Halloween, so this costume will keep your pet warm! I remember many Halloweens spent fighting with my Mom and Dad because the Pink Power Ranger, or whatever I was that year, didn’t need to wear a jacket.
There is even a Sven costume! The possibilities are endless with this fun costume! You could use it as part of your family’s group look. That way no human has to dress like a reindeer. Even if reindeer are better than people. Also, if you had more than one pet, you could dress them all up as reindeer and give them a mini-sled to pull! The Sven costume even has a tuft of hair on the top of his head and a fuzzy little tail!
Finally, you can dress your furry friend like the magic carpet! This costume is my favorite because it is so different from the others. Who would have thought to dress their pet like a carpet? Not me, that’s for sure! There are even tassels on all four corners of the carpet! And Abu is there to ride on your pet’s back. This costume is sure to get your pet all the treats they could ever want!
Sadly none of these are available on shopDisney but they are available at Disney Springs!
What do you think of these Pet Costumes? Is there a particular costume that you are looking for for your pet? Have you ever dressed your pet up in the past? If so, tell us what they wore in the comments section! I need as many good ideas as I can get!
