Pixar Fest Is Back For 2021 And Full Of Fun

Pixar Fest is back and begins today, September 2nd! Get ready for a month-long celebration of all things Pixar! There will be a Disney+ virtual film festival, new products, a dance and pose challenge inspired by fan favorite Characters, and more! Check out the awesome movie viewing guide above to follow along with the fun!

In addition to the fabulous film festival, Disney and Starlight Children’s Foundation has teamed up to design Pixar-themed Starlight Hospital Wear inspired by Toy Story, The Incredibles, and Up! Each gown will have an interactive QR code that patients can scan on their phones to get access to special Pixar animated content! I know our head Disney Fashionista, Michelle, is hoping these show up at her hospital for her patients!

Remember that dance and pose challenge I mentioned!? Well, you can join top content creators like The Williams Family, Phil Wright, Merrick Hanna, and McKenzi Brooke in the first-ever Pixar-inspired challenge! You will find it across TikTok and Instagram Reels where fans will recreate favorite Character poses themed to Pixar films! Even Harry Shum Jr. is joining in on the fun, saying:

“I’m jazzed (dad joke) to help launch the second annual Pixar Fest and unveil an all-new dance and pose challenge as part of this year’s celebration,” said Harry Shum Jr. (All My Life). “As someone who started their career as a dancer, my wife, Shelby, and I are stoked to help fans show their love of these iconic films through this fun challenge that pretty much anyone can do. I credit my lanky dancing to Woody from my favorite Pixar film, Toy Story, so I’ll be channeling him to hopefully bring some joy to families.”
