This morning was the time the new Disney Christmas bags were released! Of course, the official title is Woodland Winter but we all know it as the Disney Christmas Dooney. After seeing these bags up close and personal, it is apparent that this print is just as lovely as we expected. It is also obvious that placement is everything, and not just on the smaller bags as you might expect.

As you can see on the crossbody wallets, Minnie is completely decapitated. Not cool. If Minnie is your favorite mouse, this is very disappointing. In fact, both of the above bags show more of the winter apparel and woodland creatures than of our favorite characters. This is definitely not what I was looking for.

As you can see on the above tote bags, the same rules apply. I would have thought perfect placement would be easier to find on the larger silhouettes but these pics prove that theory to be incorrect! Not only is Mickey cut off on the top tote bag but a fab picture of Minnie is hiding underneath the tassel! I know the tassel can be moved but it is a staple part of this bag and does hide my fave fashionista. Just sayin’.
These bags are available at Disney Springs and Disney Parks today. They also appeared on ShopDisney.com but have since sold out. I believe they are also still available on the Shop Disney Parks App. The one thing to remember is that you do not get to pick placement when ordering from the official Disney sites. Just an FYI. Some people have figured out a way around the system (ordering multiple bags and returning the unwanted bags) but that’s too much work for me.
