Oh, key collector friends, we have a new Disney Store key alert! A new Toy Story Disney Store Key has been spotted for arrival soon! It will make its debut on shopDisney UK and also other European shopDisney websites. This key will make its official debut Friday, August 7th in celebration of Toy Story’s 25th Anniversary!
This is the second Toy Story key we have seen! Last year we got the Woody Key, which celebrated the release of Toy Story 4. However, this key celebrates more than just Woody! Buzz and Woody are seen side by side on the red key base, with the dates 1995 – 2020. Wow, I really cannot believe it’s been 25 years since Toy Story premiered! The Disney “D” on the key is another fun detail. The pale blue “D” is actually adorned with white fluffy clouds, just like Andy’s iconic bedroom walls! Finishing off the key is the Luxo Lamp and Luxo Ball. These two characters are a hallmark symbol of Pixar Studios, that have become fan favorites.
I know it seems a bit daunting that the European stores are getting it first, but we have seen the keys eventually make their way to the states too.
If you’re in the UK you can get your special Toy Story Disney Store Friday, August 7th. There will be 22,000 keys available from 8:00 am on Friday, August 7th for 24 hours or until sold out online only at shopDisney UK. Honestly from past experience, these will be gone pretty fast. To qualify for the free key, guests must spend £20 or more on qualifying products and enter ‘TS25’ as a promo code at checkout.
