I love Cars for 1000 different reasons. It was the first Pixar Movie that I saw at a drive-in movie theater. Also, my first car was a race car red coop with a fin, just like Lightning McQueen. I can’t believe that the original Cars came out in 2006! I can’t wait to feel a little nostalgic in the new Cars Collection from Cakeworthy. You can check out the collections here on the BoxLunch Website.
Flannels
When I think of Cakeworthy, the first thing I think of is Flannel Shirts. They are what drew me into the company many years ago. It wouldn’t be a Cakeworthy collection without at least one flannel and this collection has two. The first one is this Lightning McQueen Flannel. Lightning McQueen has signed one side of the collar. On the other side, we see his number “95”. The Piston Cup Logo is even on the pocket.
On the back, we see an advertisement for Rust*eze. This shirt really made me laugh because I had somehow forgotten that Rust*eze was bumper ointment. In true Cakeworthy Flannel style, the color scheme of the shirt matches the color scheme of the character that it represents. The shirt is red with golden accents, just like Lightning McQueen.
The second flannel shirt is the Tow Mater Flannel. Tow Mater is one of my all-time favorite Pixar Characters. I fell in love with him from the moment that I saw him go tractor-tipping. His name is on the collar, just like the Lightning McQueen shirt. He has slung his tow hook on the other side of the collar.
On the back of the shirt, we see an advertisement for Tow Mater’s company. There is even a little license plate on the bottom of the shirt. This is a great detail because it almost makes it look like you have a license plate on your back, just like a real car.
Button-Up Tops
In addition to the flannels, there is also a Button-Up Top that is a great option for warmer weather, just like the weather that we have been having recently. Just put on this Tow Mater Button-Up and people will be asking you where your tow truck is. The shirt has Tow Mater’s name on the front.
On the back, it has his company’s logo and his iconic catchphrase, “Need a lift?”. If you ever wanted to work for Tow Mater, this is the shirt for you.
Quarter Zip Sweatshirt
If you are looking for something a little bit more retro and classy, then this Flo’s Cafe Quarter Zip Sweatshirt is for you. Its pink, white, and aquamarine colors were made for a 1950s diner. Make sure that you check out every detail of this sweater! If you look closely enough, you will see that the zipper pull is a little gas pump.
Now, be sure to race to the finish line and order all of the items in the new Cars Collection from Cakeworthy right now from the BoxLunch website. Even though it might seem too hot to be thinking about flannels now, you are going to be regretting not looking at them now when they have zoomed off the shelves before the fall.
