Can you believe we’re already at the 1980s for the Disney100 Decades celebration? It’s been so much fun seeing what the icon will be for each decade. There’s so much to choose from! Next up are the Rad 80s which the Rescue Rangers represent along with many of our other vintage icons from the decade.
Disney100 Decades – 1980s Loungefly Mini Backpack
The colorful Loungefly bag takes off in the shape of the Rescue Ranger’s Plane. Gadget and Monterrey Jack join Chip and Dale aboard the flight of the decade. Moveable wings extend from each side of the mini backpack. The Rescue Ranger logo is emblazoned upon the nose of the plane which doubles as a zippered pocket.
Disney100 Decades – 1980s Ears
The detective duo may not be looking for trouble, but it always finds them! Check out the unorthodox styling of the new 1980’s ears! Dale, wearing a Hawaiian shirt, peers through a magnifying glass which replaces the right ear of the headband. In lieu of a bow, you’ll find Chip holding up the handle. Chip looks all business decked out in his bomber jacket and hat. The other ear proudly presents the Rescue Rangers logo. This is such a creative design and departure from standard bows and ears.
Disney100 Decades – 1980s Pin
If you need a little break from the Rescue Rangers, why not go a little crazy with Roger Rabbit? I actually did not see this film for the first time until about a year ago. For fans of this classic, you can show off your animated side with this colorful, limited release pin.
