The new Disney Horses Dooney & Bourke collection releases Monday, February 7th and it will have you riding in style! We’ve seen Disney Dogs, Disney Cats, and Disney Sidekicks all get their moment. Now, it’s time for the Disney Horses to take the lead!
I know that many fans have been asking for a horse design for awhile now, so this one has been a long time in the making. Does it live up to your expectations? Now, let’s take about the design of this new collection! From what we have seen, there are two silhouettes that will be available. The first, is a small crossbody style that is great for taking with you on quick trips. I’m really hoping they call this a “saddle bag” because, you know, horses.
The second style is a large tote with a front zipper pocket. This style is great for when you need to carry more essentials with you!
When it comes to the actual pattern, there is no horsing around! The background of the bag is a beautiful pastoral design, similar to a toile pattern. The cream bag with the light gray design is very elegant and classy. To add some fun and color into the bag, different Disney horses are scattered throughout. Did your favorite Disney horse make the design?
From the image above, I can spot Major (from Cinderella), Samson (from Sleeping Beauty), Philippe (from Beauty and the Beast), Pegasus (from Hercules), Angus (from Brave), Khan (from Mulan), and Maximus (from Tangled). There are two more in the design that I am not familiar with, so if you know who they are, please drop the names in the comment section below!
Finally, both bags feature classic medium brown leather handles and trim. Overall, I think these bags are a galloping good time, and would make fabulous collector pieces! They are perfect for horse loving fashionistas!

The other two horses appear to be from Legend of Sleepy Hollow…Ichabod Crane’s horse and the fearsome Headless Horseman’s black stallion!
You are missing Prince Charming’s Horse, Gaston’s horse, and Phoebus’s horse from Hunchback. None of the horses are from Legend of Sleepy Hollow.
