The last runDisney event of the year is upon us on November 8th and with that also comes the last runDisney expo of the year. What does this really mean?? It means that runDisney New Balance shoes will be available again! I did an article in early October about my experience at the Tower of Terror 10 Miler and the runDisney New Balance running shoes I encountered. It’s time for a quick recap and info on how to get your pair right here.
I’ll start by pointing out that nothing has changed in regards to obtaining the running shoes. They are still only available at the runDisney expos. There are 2 left for the year and one is this weekend at Walt Disney World. The following weekend is the final one of the year in California at Disneyland. Courtney from mousetoyouhouse.com will be at the expo at Walt Disney World opening day to purchase these amazing shoes. She is taking preorders on mousetoyourhouse so you can order your size in advance to guarantee you’ll get them and not risk that she ends up without your size in stock. I am so excited to be able to tell you all about this opportunity. Last year I didn’t attend an expo and wanted the shoes of 2013, ebay was so overpriced (over $250 per pair at least) that I didn’t really consider that an option. This would have been an excellent option for me.
Now, if you are planning on attending the expo, you will still be able to get your shoes there. The expo is on Friday, November 7th from 10am-7pm and Saturday, November 8th 9am- 3pm. I am not sure what the procedure at this expo will be to gain access to the New balance store, as it has changed at various expos through out the year.
As a brief recap of the shoes, there are 2 women’s and 2 men’s designs. I have been informed by many that they shoes can actually all be worn by women if the design you like has been labeled ‘men’s’.
