Well, many of us may have thought that the last of the runDisney New Balance shoes had already been released this year. Nope!! There wasn’t even a sneak peak of these at the D23 Expo just a week and a half ago!! For the Disneyland Half Marathon Weekend, in just one week, Donald will be joining the ranks of characters to get his own runDisney New Balance shoe!!!
Donald Duck Fresh Foam Boracay shoes by New Balance, are the newest members of the runDisney shoe collaboration and I love these! They scream Donald Duck. Some are saying they are subtle but I don’t agree. If you don’t realize these are Donald immediately, you may not be a true Disney fan… just sayin. The color is perfectly Donald. The sole is a textured yellow, and is a perfect representation of his bill. Check out the back of the shoe. It even looks like the ribbon on his hat. There is a red bow tie as well, which you can see better in the pictures below. I think it’s funny that the lining is still Mickey Mouse heads because all I keep doing is singing “Mickey Mouse! Donald Duck! Mickey Mouse… Donald Duck!” every time I look at them!
I know you may be wondering how you can get these. Not much has changed in regards to getting the illusive runDisney New balance shoes. Even if you’re not running the marathon, you can still pick up a pair starting Thursday, September 3, at the runDisney Health and Fitness Expo at the Disneyland Hotel. You can also pick up the Tinker Bell Fresh Foam Boracay shoes in adult and youth sizes too!
New Balance still has the virtual queue sign up on their website, if you are a participant and want to guarantee yourself a spot! I am so jealous of you all, that are able to go!! I will be at the Wine and Dine Half Marathon in November and I pray they still have them!!!!
