The first set of ears that I ever bought with my own money was a set of Pirate Mickey ears. I had to have them, but my parents said they were too expensive, so I used my own money to get them. They were a red and white striped bandana with black ears. To this day, they are my go-to ears. They are great for Disney days, pirate parties, Halloween, and so much more. Clearly, my parents were wrong because I have used them so much that they were well worth the investment. Since that time, I haven’t really found any pirate ears that I loved, until now. These Pirates of The Caribbean Mouse Ears are calling my name.
Unlike the whimsical pirate ears that I own, these ears have an old-time rowdy pirate feel. They were made to wear while plundering for buried treasure. They have a scarlet bow and headband with a golden cord and bronze pirate crest in the center of the bow. The ears have golden sequins all over them.
If you look closely at the headband, you’ll see one additional detail that makes it clear that these ears are from Loungefly. There is a matching scarlet Loungefly label with golden lettering. It blends in so well that only a trained eye could find it.
These Pirates of The Caribbean Mouse Ears are currently available at the Disney Parks. I’m hoping that one day I’ll also discover them while exploring the shopDisney website HERE.
