It looks like shopDisney is trying out a new system for limited releases! Thursday, July 9th the announced the new MerchPass System on their website. This new lottery-style system will be utilized for the Arendelle Frozen Castle Collection.
The promotion is a lottery-like system, that will give you early access to purchase limited release items. Guests can apply for the Frozen Castle MerchPass promotion between July 13, 2020, at 7:00 AM PDT, and July 14, 2020, at 11:59 PM PDT.
This promotion is also open only to legal residents of the 50 United States & D.C. who are 18+ at time of entry.
There will be a limit of just 1 entry per person, per item offered in Promotion. A random drawing is to be held on or about July 16, 2020. Entrants are to be notified via e-mail by July 16, 2020, at 5:00 PM PDT. If entry is selected, you have will have through July 17, 2020 to purchase the item at a designated price.

This looks to be like a way shopDisney is trying to avoid the bot purchases that have made the Limited Release collection launches difficult. I really hope this works well!
