May 1st brought the beginning of the Silver Sailing Celebration with Disney Cruise Line. The 25th anniversary brings new Castaway Club Gifts to treat family’s adventures at sea. What’s better than walking into your stateroom and finding Disney themed gifts!
Tote Bag Gift
You can never have enough bags! Tote bags are given out to every tier of the Castaway Club starting with Silver level. Captain Mickey and Captain Minnie stand on deck and declare “It’s time to Cruise!”
Castaway Club Wet/Dry Bag Gift
A wet/dry bag is a must when I head to the water. Whether the pool or the beach, it’s an essential item to secure electronics and books! It’s also a fabulous way to pack your bathing suit if it’s not quite dry when it’s time to disembark! I’m loving the teal backdrop that frames white images of fireworks, Captain Minnie and the cruise line logo. Gold tier and high club members will receive the wet/dry bag.
Beach Towel Gift
Platinum members and above will stay dry with the new beach towel. It’s not your standard rectangular towel, but a larger almost beach blanket. The towel features a face shot of Mickey against a Caribbean Sea blue background.
Castaway Club Tumbler Gifts
Pearl is the newest tier for DCL guests who have completed 25 sailings or more. Pearls will receive all of the above gifts plus a stunning tumbler. The pale pink to white ombre is a favorite of all the Fashionistas! White decorative print shows the Disney Cruise Line Logo on one side. The opposite side shows a silhouette of the front of the ship! I hope they eventually bring these into gift shops!
Other Stateroom Gifts
All levels will find new Mickey lanyards in their room. A pocket peeper Captain Mickey holds your Key to the World card and other cards. Three color variations include silver, gold, and platinum. During the Silver Sailing celebration, from May-September only, guests will also receive a complimentary painting (see below).
Silver Sailings might have brought new Castaway Club gifts, but they are not temporary. Once the party is over, these fabulous new items will remain!
