Holiday Decorating seems to be divided up in to two groups. Those who believe in before Thanksgiving decorating and those believe in after Thanksgiving decorating. Since Turkey Day has passed, BRING ON THE HOLIDAYS! November 24th marks the first day of the 2023 Festival of the Holidays at Epcot. All the new merchandise released, so get ready to sparkle with the 2023 Collection.
2023 Festival of the Holidays Merchandise
In the spirit of the season, the Spirit Jersey is designed for comfort. It’s so thick and cozy, created with sherpa material. Find a gold glitter puff Mickey ornament on the front surrounded by nostalgically shaped snowflakes and ornaments in shades of gold and teal. Across the back, you’ll again see the shimmery gold of the festival’s name, combined with black and teal of the World Showcase landmarks.
We’ve heard many people comment on the lack of a Dooney and Bourke this year. However, we are thrilled with the lovely aesthetic of this dressed up Loungefly. Black velvet, embroidered with metallic threads create the perfect look for all your holiday events. Use either the handle or the attachable shoulder strap for easy carrying. The lining is similar to the Corkcicle below.
If you do the cookie stroll at the Festival of the Holidays, you’ll want to commemorate it with the adorable cookie jar! These are so fun to collect year after year. The collection also offers us a mug that coordinates with the cookie jar. Milk and Cookies anyone? The Festival’s design can also be found on a jovial Corkcicle full of holiday icons and landmarks from around Epcot. The angular design of the gold tumbler lid is reminiscent of Spaceship Earth.
What would be a visit to the Festival of Holidays without bringing home an ornament for your tree? Both the ornament and the blanket share a similar design. I like how we see the design contrasted against white and black with the merchandise. Large pom-pom detailing on either side accentuate the warm throw blanket. Obviously, there will be a collector’s pin with every Disney event! Wish everyone “Seasons Greetings” with the white and gold ornament shaped pin.
Annual Passholders receive two exclusive designs. Stay warm on colder nights with the black zip-up hoodie. The teal and gold festival design is located on the back along with the Festival’s name and Annual Passholder. You’ll see the same design on the front of the jacket, however this time in the shape of a Mickey head. An Annual Passholder pin showcases the Festival design with a dangling placard stating “PASSHOLDER.”
