It’s Halfway 2 Halloween, and Disney is celebrating in a big way! We have lots of spooky goodies to look forward to, including a new Haunted Mansion Loungefly Collection! This ghostly new collection features two new bags, and an ID card holder!
First up we have the Hitchhiking Ghost bag. We’ve seen a Doom Buggy type Hitchhiking ghost bag previously, but this one is even better! The bag has more of a dome shape to mimic the iconic chair ride look. The lovable ghosts who want to follow us home also look like they are sitting inside the chair, with the way they are positioned above the pocket. This bag has a convertible strap and can be used as a crossbody. It looks similar to the convertible backpacks we have seen previously, but we don’t know yet for sure.
Sure the wallpaper is one of the most iconic styles we recognize from the ride. However, my personal favorite look is the Cast Member costumes, especially the Ghost Host maid! This backpack beautifully recreates the apron style, from the ruffled edges, right down to the Ghost Host NAME TAG!! The traditional lacey bat hairpiece adorns the top of this frighteningly adorable backpack.
To round out this spooky collection is a coordinating Haunted Mansion ID cardholder. The ID holder has the same spectral greenish blue, with the Haunted Mansion plaque on the front. This cute little ghostie also matched both bags!
There is no official release date on the new Haunted Mansion Loungefly Collection, but we can expect to see it on shopDisney soon as part of Disney’s Halfway 2 Halloween celebration!
